This past sunday during the “Mega Moon”, myself and about 10 other night photographers went out to Peddocks Island in Boston Harbor. This is an annual camping trip but  was only my second time going out. This year we stayed in Yurts which were new to the island after being closed  for renovation for a few years. City Folk like myself found this pretty nice since I don’t have a tent or a sleeping bag. The yurts were almost brand new and I think its a great way to visit these islands.

I spent most of my time walking around solo, looking for objects and landscapes to light paint. I found some great spots before sunset, but after the moon rose  and high tide set in, I was unable to reach those areas due to the astronomical high tide. I guess I need to go back for another full moon and low tide at night!
